Jayavantrao Ghyar Patil Sevabhavi Sanstha, located in Hingoli Maharashtra was established in the year 2008. Chandrakant Ghyar Patil is the founder of the organization. Major activities of the society are organic farming, training SHGs (Self Help Groups), sanitation campaign etc.
We have successfully formed 30 Village level Biodiversity Management Committees in Hingoli block. Our trust works with women and has formed 35 SHGs in Hingoli block, run kitchen garden programmes with 300 women supported by AFARM, Pune (Action for Agricultural Renewal in Maharashtra). We have conducted organic farming programmes with 100 farmers and established Organic Farmers Group. We have arranged National Environmental Campaign awareness programmes through BAIF, Pune (Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation).
