Santhi Medical Information Centre, a charitable institution founded by Mrs. Umapreman on August 24th 1997 in Guruvayur, Trichur district, Kerala is a resource centre for those who seek medical information, treatment & financial assistance for crippling or life-threatening ailments.
It is the fulfillment of a dream which she shared with her husband Mr. Preman Thaikkad at his death bed because of the delayed and improper diagnosis and treatment. Thus she realized the importance of right medical information and the proper treatment essential to safeguard human lives. Mrs. Uma Preman has donated her kidney to a youth named Salil on 1999 July 28, who was desperately in need of a transplant. Now he is also working actively helping our patients.
